Groups

Adults

Nurture and Outreach offers activities throughout the year for our members to share in an activity, a meal, and to get to know each other a little bit better.

Bible study groups are added from time to time.  Activities have been:

  • A video series.
  • Current topics and their relationship to Scripture.
  • Opportunity for questions, for reflection, and good discussions on life application. Please join us to grow in faith. All are welcome.

“The Walk: Five Essential Practices of Christian Life, ” by Adam Hamilton.

How do we walk with Christ–daily follow him, grow in him, and faithfully serve him? Join Adam Hamilton this Lent and Easter in The Walk and discover five essential spiritual practices rooted in Jesus’ own walk with God. In each chapter, Hamilton’s engaging teaching style will help you explore one of these practices–each of which is intended to be a part of our daily walk with Christ–its New Testament foundation, and its potential effect on our personal lives and our lives together as the church.

The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis - The Screwtape Letters is an iconic classic on spiritual warfare and the dynamics of temptation. This profound and striking narrative takes the form of a series of letters from Screwtape, a devil high in the Infernal Civil Service, to his nephew Wormwood a junior colleague engaged in his first mission on earth, trying to secure the damnation of a young man who has just befome a Christian. Although the young man initially looks to be a willing victim, he changes his ways and is "lost" to the young devil.
