Adults
Are you interesting in participating in a friendly Scripture-based Bible study group? Then Second-Chance Class is for YOU!! We often use an inductive style Bible study guide, designed to help you discover for yourself what Scripture is saying to you. The life guide series vary in length from 8-12 weeks. Each week is a lesson in itself, so there is no pressure if you miss a week (sorry, there are no stars). We are rather informal about attendance and punctuality; we just want you to join us when you can.
Sometimes we view a video series. Occasionally we discuss current topics and their relationship to Scripture. There are always questions for reflection and good discussions on life application. Please join us to grow in faith. All are welcome.
Youth
Sunday School classes are offered for children of all ages. Classes take place during the worship service (11:00 a.m. to 12 noon).
Once a month our children love taking an offering with their “beach pails” to benefit children in Haiti. Hot Lunch for Haiti takes place the second Sunday of each month.
UMW
UMW meets on the second Wednesday of each month. In the winter, we meet at the church, but during fair weather, we will meet at various member houses. All are welcome to join!
Bible Studies
Pastor Bryan will start a 2020 Lenten Bible Study March 1 through April 5. The study is based on: “The Walk: Five Essential Practices of Christian Life, ” by Adam Hamilton.
How do we walk with Christ–daily follow him, grow in him, and faithfully serve him? Join Adam Hamilton this Lent and Easter in The Walk and discover five essential spiritual practices rooted in Jesus’ own walk with God. In each chapter, Hamilton’s engaging teaching style will help you explore one of these practices–each of which is intended to be a part of our daily walk with Christ–its New Testament foundation, and its potential effect on our personal lives and our lives together as the church.
