Mancelona United Methodist Church is a landmark on US-131 - it's classic beauty greets all travelers as they pass through our village. Built in the late 1800's, it was the first church in Mancelona. Entering the sanctuary is like taking a trip back in time to a place that has long served the worship of God. Over nearly a century and a half, the congregation has maintained and updated God's house while still retaining a cozy feel for family worship. Our pastor is a young, dynamic speaker filled with a passion to share Christ's message.

Our church is very active in our community and beyond! From our weekly Community Meal on Tuesdays to supporting Africa University, we are "doers." The United Methodist Church has created a website and Facebook page called "Rethink" Church (see the link on the left side of this page). Rethink Church asks the question "What if Church was a verb?"

As you peruse this website, you will see that at Mancelona United Methodist Church we "church" throughout our world each and every day. Join us!

Cross & Flame History
It should come as no surprise to anyone that we live in a particularly divided time. How are we, as Christians, called to respond to times of deep division? The completion of this sermon series will be this Sunday, July 30. We will continue to explore this question in the final sermon of this series "Divided Nations," as we take a look at the divisions between Jacob and Esau, two brothers who couldn't be more different from one another. See you Sundays @ 11am!
